Max A. Hasse Jr. Week in Teaneck

The Teaneck Council, by official proclamation, has declared the week of October 24th to October 29th, to be "Max A. Hasse Jr. Week".The proclamation was made by the Council, in honor of the long years of service made to the town by Hasse, Councilman for 15 years, and Deputy-Mayor for five of those years.The Hasse Week will end with a flourish, as there will be a huge dinner in honor of the Councilman.The dinner will take place at the Imperial Manor on Route Four, on Friday, October 29, at 8:00 P.M.Tickets may be obtained from Charles Custer or Vivien McBride. They are ten dollars each. For further information concerning the dinner, residents may call Custer at TE 7-6590, or Ms. McBride at TE 6-1397.Among the notables attending the dinner will be the members of the Teaneck Council, who will make a presentation to Hasse, in honor of his unusual and salient achievements throughout the years in Teaneck.In signing the proclamation, Mayor Eleanor Kieliszek cited Hasse's activities in, among others, Community Chest, Boy Scouts, Little League, March of Dimes, Blood Bank Association, and membership on Teaneck special Boards.
Hasse served on the Board of Adjustment, Planning Board, Parks and Recreation Board, and Youth Guidance Council.
Hasse and his wife will retire in January, to live in Florida.
