PROCLAMATION

CONCERNING FIRE PREVENTION WEEK

WHEREAS, the President of the United States has designated the week of October 4th as Fire Prevention Week throughout this country, and

WHEREAS, the President has asked the cooperation of all State and :Municipal officials, and of the people in general,

THEREFORE, I. MILTON G: VOTEE, Mayor of the Township of Teaneck, in the County of Bergen, New Jersey, do hereby ask our people to observe this week in an appropriate manner, primarily by an inspection of their own premises, to discover and remove fire hazards and also by taking part in such public lectures, ceremonies or exhibitions as may be arranged by the local Fire Department, and by committees and organizations working in cooperation therewith.
