Check Out a Mobile (Wi-Fi) Hotspot from the Library
And access the Internet from anywhere...
The Library is now lending out mobile (Wi-Fi) hotspots!
A mobile hotspot device enables users to connect to the Internet using a small box with a cell phone data plan that they can bring with them wherever they go. Similar to a data plan for a cell phone, as long as the device can connect to the cell tower, users can access the Internet.
These are great for our patrons (who are Teaneck residents and age 18 and up) who may not have their own internet connection at home or have lost their home connection temporarily (or ran out of data!), and even when traveling.
Hotspots can be taken out for two weeks, without renewal. There are 10 hotspots that can be borrowed. It is on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservation can be made ahead of time. Hotspots can be checked out downstairs at the service desk.
